Calcarus
A downloadable game for Windows
Overview
Calcarus is a turn-based survival game in which you control an astronaut stranded on an alien planet. The goal is to hold out as long as possible against a horde of hostile aliens. Depending on which enemies are defeated, the environment changes over the course of a match, creating new tactical opportunities and challenges.
You need a controller to play this game.
Production
We developed this prototype as a team of four during our game design studies, working on it from May to July 2021. The project focused on creating a game with a 2D art style. My contributions included system design, level design and programming.

Zip-File containing everything to start the game.
If you're having trouble starting the game, try the following steps:
1. Right Click and choose "Extract All..."
2. Open the new folder and select "Calcarus" to start the game.
(3.) Windows might block the execution of the game. In that case you have to expand the dropdown window and allow the game ro run.
